Scientific Computing Research Group

The research group Scientific Computing focuses on the development of numerical methods, algorithms and software for large-scale simulation in science and engineering. Application areas include fluid dynamics, magneto-hydrodynamics, material science, electromagnetic systems and bioprocesses. Other research topics include numerical methods for control and optimization, and computational geometry.

Students The Scientific Computing Research Group is involved in the master "Wiskundige Ingenieurstechnieken" (Dutch) and has supervised many master theses.
